Wow! Wowza! Whoa! Wowie! Would you look at this cake??????? It was made by Ely Kim and it is a Thanksgiving Miracle! He created it for a Bake-Off and I am fairly certain that he WON, hands down! Following is a description of this masterpiece written by Ely:
The Thanksgiving Feast
Three layers of spiced pumpkin cake sandwiched between layers of velvety Vermont maple cream cheese frosting, then lightly dusted with toasted walnut and cake crumb.
The breast is the juiciest part, and healthiest! Raw cranberries for decoration only.
Not just any apple crumble, but a combination of fresh Honey Crisp, Granny Smith, and Golden Delicious apples, spiced with cinnamon and a caramelized brown sugar.
Magnificent Mashed Potatoes
Freshly whipped cream kissed with cinnamon spice.
I love it, Ely! You have made my Thanksgiving so happy already and its not even Thursday. HIGH FIVE!!!

Here we are, back to school! Let’s celebrate this fact by making these Bookworm treats! I wrote this recipe for Breyers ice cream!
- 1 graham cracker
- 1/2 cup Breyers® Natural Vanilla Ice Cream, slightly softened
- 1 gummy worm candy
- Decorative icing (optional)
- Place graham cracker on small dish. Place Breyers® Natural Vanilla Ice Cream on top of graham cracker and carefully smooth to edges using butter knife or small spatula. Use knife to carve line down center of ice cream to resemble center of open book. Smooth around edges so that ice cream is same shape as graham cracker.
- Place in freezer until very firm. Remove from freezer and use fork to scrape lines around ice cream sides to resemble pages in book. Insert gummy worm into ice cream. Write a few words or letters on the pages of book with decorative icing if you wish! Serve immediately or freeze until ready to serve.

Souris gathered a bunch of folks together to do a bunch of black and white drawings to put together in a beautiful book. I was honored to be one of those drawing folks! Now its your job to make the drawings bright and better!!!

This summer I have been writing some fun recipes using Breyers ice cream. Breyers makes an excellent and tasty art supply!!! I would like to share with you who is on my kitchen counter right now! My young pal, Ivy K. helped me with this recipe! THANKS IVY!
MINT CHOCOLATE CHIMP
2 chocolate sandwich cookies or chocolate wafer cookies
Red decorating icing
Black decorating icing
1 (1/2 cup) scoop Breyers® Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream
2 small round candies
Cut 1 cookie in half; set aside.
Using red decorating icing, draw a mouth on the lower half of other cookie. Using black decorating icing, draw 2 nostrils on top half of same cookie.
Place Breyers® Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream scoop on plate. Place reserved cookie halves on top sides of ice cream to make ears.
Place whole cookie on lower half of ice cream to make face. Place round candies above cookie and add 2 dots black decorating icing to make eyes.
Serve immediately or freeze until ready to eat.
